Stationary Dual Fuel Diesel Models
Systems utilizing either natural gas or propane are available. The unit is sized based on the amount of diesel fuel to be substituted per hour of operation. Below are pictures of several models.
S2-NE, S3-NE, S3-NE-HP
This unit is the S3-EN-HP. It will replace up to 7 gallons of diesel per hour. It requires a supply pressure of 100 - 250 psi, and has a single outlet to the engine. It is electronically controlled and can be used on a mechanical or electronic diesel. If electronic, it interfaces with the ECM via J-1939, J-1708, or OBDII. The S-2 series uses the same size enclosure.
S2-NE
Inlet pressure 5 - 10 psi, maximum substitution 4 gallons of diesel per hour.
S3-NE
Inlet pressure 5 - 10 psi, maximum substitution 7 gallons of diesel per hour.
S3-HP-NE
Inlet pressure 100 - 250 psi, maximum substitution 7 gallons of diesel per hour.
S4-NE
Inlet pressure 5 - 10 psi, maximum substitution 16 gallons of diesel per hour.
S5-NE
Inlet pressure 5 - 10 psi, 16 gallons of substitution and up.
S4-NE, S5-NE
The S4-NE and S5-NE use the same size enclosure. S4 is shown above.
Propane
S2-EP
This unit is for propane. The unit draws liquid from the tank, which requires engine coolant to warm the heat exchanger. Holes are drilled where necessary in the enclosure for the liquid propane supply, coolant hoses, and outlet vapor hose to the engine intake.
